Star Style Rihanna: Get her look

Everyone already knows how fashionable Rihanna is.  Regardless of your opinion on her singing career, that’s just one thing you cannot deny the girl. She’s always making the “Best Dressed” lists whether she’s strutting her stuff on the red carpet, lighting up the stage, or just out and about on her own free time. I, for one, truly admire the choices she makes when it comes to fashion and I must say a large portion of that is due in part to her fashion stylist, the amazing Mariel Haenn. Throughout the years, with the help of Ms. Haenn, Rihanna has transformed her look dramatically. What I like most about Rihanna’s style is it seems so effortless and feminine, even when she’s wearing brass-knuckle heels!

So lets take a look at one of her more recent out and about get-ups. Here, she  was spotted at Barney’s New York along with new singer Duffy (not pictured). She looks rather stunning in a somewhat normal outfit: a plaid blouse under a fitted white vest paired with dark wash skinny jeans and open toe sandals. While her outfit may be a bit more on the expensive side, it’s really easy to replicate this look in a more budget friendly way.

First let’s start with the jeans. At  Macy’s you can find a pair in almost the same wash as Rihanna’s, and they even have the zippered bottom! Top it off with a cute little ruffled plaid blouse similar to Rihanna’s that can be found at Wet Seal, and the the vest,you can get from Urban Outfitters . The great thing is that since they’re all so moderately priced, you can afford to spend a bit more on a great pair of shoes and a bag! So zip on over to Zappos we go, where they’ve got this cute pair of chunky T-strap sandals in camel brown and although they aren’t exactly the same as Rihanna’s , they’re the same idea: sassy to the max! Next, grab black hobo bag, which you can find at Old Navy just in case you don’t already own one. Accessorize with a pair of stud earrings that suit your fancy, a creative cuff bracelet and you’re almost done!

Now all you’ve got to do is swipe on a soft toasted almond eye shadow with a hint of gold, pink lip gloss, and your favorite mascara, and VOILA! You’re ready to go!
