If you’re like me, you probably can spend hours online virtual window shopping. If so, then let me introduce you to Polyvore, an online community geared towards your inner fashion stylist. This site is amazing! I know I say that a lot, but it’s true!  After a quick sign-up, (seriously, it only takes,like, five seconds) you can head over to their ‘editor’ that allows you to compile full outfits and even rooms without breaking your wallet!

Now, one of the coolest things about Polyvore is it’s search function. Either use the pre-set categories or type in whatever you want and Polyvore lists every possible match, which you can then narrow down  by color or website. It’s so addictive, I love it! Check out one of my favorite creations by member shrimp crackers titled “Give Me A BLT, and Hold the Mayo” :

Cute huh? And BTW, I absolutely love the way she titles her sets, haha.

Another thing you may notice is that if you click on the top link marked “Explore” you’ll get a summary of the whole site; from the most popular sets and items, to who’s active online and more. Also, many members join groups and hold contests based on a particular item or theme, like this Tokyo Street Style one. And while you may not want to join the competition, it’s rather cool to see how different the finished products are even though everyone is using the same central item or store. Also something I should mention about Polyvore is if you come across an outfit/room that you adore, and want for your very own, along the side of each set is listed each and every item used to make the set, along with the website/store where it’s from originally. Just click the “Browse” link next to “Items in this Set” and BAM! It’s all laid out for you, on the original websites!! Talk about genius! And don’t worry guys, there’s stuff for men too!

I won’t go too much into detail about the awesome features so that I don’t ruin the fun of “discovering” them for yourself, so head on over to polyvore.com and don’t for get to comeback and post a link to your creations!!

I’ll start ok,? Here’s a set I created called “C’mon Eileen” You like? Now it’s your turn!

Oh btw, you can also check out Polyvore’s official blog to see what’s new related to Polyvore!

and Hoc, I think that’s a great idea!

I wish you didn’t show me sites like this. I could spend hours looking at them and wanting to buy things I don’t have much money for :(

Perhaps we should make a list of GirlyBubble approved sites?

Yeah me too. Especially when I don’t want to do homework. ^^;

I hate websites like this. I always get addicted! HAHA
