Cute Coats for Fall and Winter

I think I want a new coat. Something cuter than the old pea coat I currently own, and something warmer than my bubble. I was doing some window shopping online at shops such as Delia’s and Alloy because I’m too broke to actually get what I want right now, and they’ve got a few cute ‘uns in stock.

This season, I’m really feeling bold and electric colors like this nylon cobalt blue coat from Delia’s. The big double breasted buttons and piping are extra cuteness. I could picture myself in this, definitely. It’s my favorite color and it’s got personality. You can’t be shy and timid with this on. No sireebob!

I also like this cute grey coat with removable hood from Alloy, but it doesn’t look very warm. I think I’ve fallen for it’s buttoned yoke and pleated breast. *sigh* I don’t want to fall into the trap of cute vs cold, because we all know that cold wins. And looking cute, but freezing your tushy off is a no-go.

On the other hand, I spotted some totally sweet coats over at Top Shop. I love Top Shop because it’s got really feminine clothing with just that extra bit of bite to keep it from being boring. I have two faves so far. First there’s this sea green duffle coat looks comfy and warm, plus it gets points in the cute department because I absolutely love toggle buttons!^^ The other is this cute full skirted coat complete with a bow on the back (adorable!) Both would look really fly with some bright yellow gloves, no?
