Someone asked if I own the heels pictured in my Heel Compendium post. Unfortunately I don’t (some of those are really hot though so I wish), but I thought I’d showcase a few that I DO own so that I can try to use that guide to break down what’s going on style-wise with these pairs of shoes. It’s like taking off the fashionista training wheels lol.
Anyway so these are my four favorite pairs of heels, each representing a different heel type. I literally picked them out of my closet, stuck them on my window ledge, and took pictures of them in the morning light (hence all the romantic soft blue light). They’re all on the relatively newer/less-used side of my shoe collection.
1. Pewter ankle boots with stiletto heel from BCBGirls (hot, chic, sophisticated, and not meant to be worn with a lot of walking):
2. Black pumps with silver stiletto heel from Aldo (sexy, stiff, kind of ridiculous, and not meant to be walked in at all haha):
3. Denim and white wedges from Naturalizer Sport (casual, sporty, easy-to-match, fun, and still quite girly):
4. Silver strappy sandals with stiletto heel and open toe from a random flea market in China (easy to wear, sparkly, cute, shows off the foot in a sexy way, and best of all VERY cheap):
What’s missing: I don’t seem to own any pointed-toe shoes, espadrilles, or spectators. I also left most of my mules and slingbacks at home. But I’ll do another round after Thanksgiving when I’ve gotten a chance to go home and dig those up =)

I love your taste in shoes!
They all are expensive except for the last pair. haha
@lilypixel: thanks! =D
@charissima: i actually don’t buy shoes full price, so these were either from a clearance or thrift store. it’s the way to go ;D
I like the black pump one! Too bad I can’t wear heels. My ankles are so weak, that every time I wear them, my ankles twist on me. X_X:; Forget it. And I walk around too much, haha. So comfortable shoes are more my style; or at least ones without heels.
Pricey but cute shoes.
