For my last 2008 “Fab Faves” entry, I’m going to end with a list of my reflections this year. Despite my health going kaput this year, I’m amazed by how much had happened in a single year! I hope you all had a great year! I’m looking forward to 2009 and hope it will be better than 2008!

Girl Gamer: Expanded my game selections for the DS. In fact, the DS is the only system I played on all year long! I even played games I never would have thought to play! (ie: Princess Debut)

Proud Nerd: Discovered that I graduated cum laude with a 3.85 gpa from my uni, to which my mother heard me say it as “cula” and “goon goh goo ma” (sweet potato in Korean).

Surprise Visit #1: Best friend from Guam surprised the heck out of me at a HOF via cellphone. Because I was so shocked, on the phone, I threatened to kill her for not telling she planned this!

Nth Commencement Ceremony: I attended way too many commencement ceremonies in the last eight years. Combining the ones I attended in high school and college, I think the number comes up to about 10, give or take. Therefore, I hope my commencement for my BA is the last one I’ll ever attend for a while.

Surprise Visit #2: Best guy friend from the states, who’s more or less gay, called me up just as I went to bed, thought it was some weird dude calling me, hung up on him, he called again, and then it clicked in my brain who it was. Spent one glorious day and night with him.

Interesting Shopping Trip: Gay guy + girl who doesn’t like shopping + straight guy who doesn’t like shopping = interesting moments at Myeong-dong.

Major Otaku Shopping Trip: Over Memorial Day weekend, two of my friends and I went to Tokyo for three nights and four days. I came back with a bunch of yaoi-related stuff, gifts for a thousand people, and second tonsillitis in six month.

Blogging Monster: I joined NokoNoko, Ningin, and Girlybubble. Along with my personal blog and LJ, I’m constantly blogging. Especially in the last four months of this year.

Digital Perm: Recap here. Nuff said.

New Opportunity: Switched from my child care worker job to a computer lab monitor job where I work with middle school and high school students. Not sure if that’s any improvement from working with preschoolers, but otherwise it’s fine.

“ITIS” of a Mucus Mess: Been sick all year long. BLARGH.

DUN DUN DUN. The End. I hope 2009 is a better year health-wise!
