Fab Faves: Colours

If you had asked me fifteen years ago, what my favourite colour is, I’d have immediately answered pink. Now, though, I suffer from “pinkaphobia” (especially the hot pink varieties), so my answer is very different now. I’m really picky with colours. There are certain colours I will never want to associate with. Then again, there are colours I love and here are my favourites.

Black

Black is nice. It goes with practically anything. The only time I don’t like black is with my hair, hahaha.

White

White and black are each others binary opposites. I like white for the same reason that it goes with everything. Though I do have a thing against white since it gets dirty easily.

Blue

Blue is my absolute happy colour. I love almost every single shade of blue (except for this yucky shade). I love navy blue, light blue, slate blue, and yadadada. However, once it goes into turquoise or aqua, then I get a bit squeamish.

Green

Believe it or not, I actually didn’t like green for a long time. I only started to like it because of Harry Potter. By that, I decided to affiliate myself with the Slytherin house, and their house colour happens to be green. Seriously, when it comes to forest green or dark green, I’m a sucker for it.

Lilac

I’ll grudgingly admit that I do like pink, yellow, and orange (my least favourite colours along with brown) when it’s in pastel shade. However, of all the pastel colours, I like lilac aka lavendar aka whatever you wanna it purple shade the best. I guess it’s the hidden girly side of me. Even as a kid, I always like that colour.
