10 Under 10: Accessories

Continuing on with our little bargain-shopping-fun, I think we should move on to accessories! Accessories are great because they can make any old outfit you have in your closet look totally different. Add a belt here, or a brooch there and viola! You’ve just spiced up an outfit you were so ready to move on from! With that in mind, lets see if we can find 10 accessories, under 10 bucks to help you look a perfect 10! (sorry, I couldn’t help it lol)


1. Fab Croc Wallet:  Very cute, this wallet is one of Forever 21’s “Fab Finds” and they’re right, it’s fabulous! The glossy patent outer shell will definitely add some sass to your outfit, Plus it comes in 5 vibrant colors: purple, black, sliver grey, yellow, and Kelly green. Price: $9.50

2. 1920’s Face Fragment Earrings: These are really cool and unique,like the store you can get them from. Girl Props is THE place to find quirky jewelry. This particular pair are 1920’s styled earrings of what looks to be shards from an old statue. What’s cool about them is if you don’t have your ears pierced, they also come as clip ons. Price: $4.99

3. Pave’ Orange Slice Neclace: Speaking of Girl Props, you can pretty much go wild in there, since many of their items are budget friendly. Take for example this super sweet orange slice necklace! Sparkly wins points with me, as does food, so a sparkly food necklace?! YAY!  This necklace could totally give some citrusy feel good vibes to your outfit, no? Price: $9.99

4. Loungefly Key Caps: Ok, granted these won’t spice up your outfit, but they will make you like looking at your keys! Loungefly, which is known for their great bags and wallets has these really cool key caps that you can get at Wet Seal featuring cute little animals like this panda and Hello Kitty. Price:$ 4.00
5. Gauze Scarves: Accenting a simple outfit with a scarf is an easy way to add some pop. You can do bold colors or if you’re feeling all spring-ish, go with a soft pastel color, or floral print. Since it’s more than likely that the Keffiyah trend is going to continue well into next fall, this is a more girly way to play along. Charlotte Russe has an array of pretty gauze scarves, many of which are under 10 bucks, like the ones pictured here. Price:$ 8.99

6. Crochet Beret: Hats are a great way to hide a bad hair day. Let’s swing it back to Forever21 because they’ve got some really cute berets in really great colors. Since the nice weather is a comin’ it’s great to finally see some bright and cheery colors to chase away the drab winter wear. This beret is 100% cotton and it comes in mustard, jade, blue, purple, black and taupe. Perfect colors for spring. Price: $6.50

7. Field Flower Earrings: Cute and dangly, these earrings can add a sweet little touch to any oufit. They’re from Pink Ice, a cool boutique with lots of girlicious accessories and clothing. They’ve got a lot of under $10 earrings to choose from, but I really think these little flower pair are cute, don’t you? Price: $9.99

8. Chevron Waist Belt: This is fly. And with that being said, who doesn’t want an awesome wide belt to spice up their wardrobe? This belt from A’ GACI comes in three colors: black/grey, blue/teal (it’s listed as green, but it looks blue to me) and purple/maroon. What’s cool about this belt is the Chevron pattern which I love…reminds me of this one Chevron vest I had in 1st grade. Price: $6.30

9. Enamel Bracelet Set: Sticking with A’GACI, here’s a really cute bracelet set. It’s multi colored, so I’m guessing if you order online, you’re probably not going to get the exact colors as pictured, but that can’t be a bad thing. Especially if you like colors. Anywho, this bracelet set  would look great with a cute dress or even just a tee shirt and jeans. Price: $4.50

10. Mom’s and Grandma’s Closet: Oh yes, riffling through their closets can get you some really great accessories that will probably be either vintage or hard to find. I remember once I found this great leather bag with tassels in my Grandma’s closet. I got so many compliments after borrowing it from her, that I begged her to let me keep it, which of course she did. Gotta love grandmas. My mom also has some really cool belts from the 80s that I love but she’s too stylish to actually let me have them. Borrow yes. Have..not yet.
