Seriously. How awesome are her space-agey designs? I’m not even really sure how I came across her work, but ever since catching a look at one of her hoodies I’ve been obsessed [obsessed, I tell you] with her clothing line. Talk about fashion forcasting, I found out that many of the designs I like the most are probably one or two years old…and what’s crazy is that they look so current, and even futuristic that it’s hard to believe she didn’t teleport from fall 2015.
Like I said, many of her styles are at least two years old, yet are so in style that one could probably get a few seasons out of just ONE of her hoodies. I was so enamored with her signature mega collar and streamlined outerwear that I had to find out who, what, and why. So after googling “Joodito” I found her on Etsy as well as some posts showcasing her stuff on craftster.org. I gotta tell you, this girl is crazy talented. What also I found out through my googling is that all of her pieces are recycled and then reconstructed into something so FIERCE even Tyra would have to bow down.
I seriously want want want want WANT one of her jackets and space helmets it’s almost criminal. Unfortunately for me two factors stand in my way: the first being that she doesn’t have them for sale as of right now. Yep you guessed it; they’re sold out. And considering how fly they are, it’s no wonder. The second roadblock is that her pieces are way outta my budget….for now. One of her awesome sweater scarves costs $80.00…which is a little much for me at this moment. However, If I had the funds, I’d seriously grab the teal one.
Check out her work, and keep an eye on her Etsy…and hopefully in stores/boutiques soon *cough*withcollegestudentfriendlyprices*cough*
Dude I’m telling you, JOODITO is the future, now!
