A few days ago I was happy to show you a video of a really awesome dancing wedding intro. Well now people are going to beat the concept to death by using a dancing intro for everything, starting with this dance before before a divorce hearing. Still, I think it’s pretty funny!~ More »

It’s hard to argue with the expression, “love comes in many forms.” Today, my dear Girlybubble readers, that form is pure geek. I find geek love and geek romance to be both awkward and cute at the same time. Like this wedding photo where everyone is wearing a Katamari style headgear from the Katamari video games. Unique wedding, but how many of you will actually do something crazy different like that for your wedding? More geeky wedding examples at divinecaroline. More »

The San Diego Comic Con has been pretty much everywhere in the news this past week with so many big entertainment companies looking to promote their shows, games, what have you. But not enough attention was paid to the cute people and costumes there! In an effort to change that, I sifted through almost tons of photos and found 15 that pass my cuteness threshold. So enjoy!~ More »

From Ziggytek: Thinking about spending a few grand and stimulating the economy all by yourself? Well, you might want to take a look at these diamond encrusted earbuds. These earbuds were originally made by Belgium based jeweler, Casa Gi and were on sale in Bristol at the Clive Ranger jewelry shop for 3,499 Euros ($5,175). More details after the break. More »

Few things are cuter in this world than small pets, babies, and Hello Kitty. Unfortunately due to the laws of the universe, you can’t have all three in the same photo without special astrological circumstances. Two out of the three is quite alright and can be downright cute! Just look at this four photo story. My quick takeaway from this is that the dog is wiser than the baby imparting his knowledge on her. More »

No, Hollywood isn’t coming out with a remake. Although I kind of wish they would since it’s one of my favorite movies. But one website was kind enough to compile a list of 25 different visionings for the famed Dorothy, Lion, Scarecrow, and Tin Man. All of them are completely different from the original movie versions and from each other. Makes you wonder what if these visions came to life on the screen and how the story would be different. My favorite of the 25 is shown above, created by a user named Gino on Deviantart. It has an anime look and feel to it. But I really like all of them! More »

If you’re into fashion at all, you’ve probably already heard about Polyvore.com. It’s a site where you can mix and match clothing from just about every line and make your own magazine spread. Things I use to do when I was a little kid but I had to cut out the photos of clothes from magazines. Well it looks like a lot of girls (and certain boys) have found out about Polyvore since an article popped up in the New York Times today showing Polyvore with 835,000 unique visitors! It’s no longer fashion’s best kept secret. More »

I have a little vacation/getaway coming soon and was searching for some cute flip flops. After wasting a lot of time on Amazon and Zappos as well as couple of hours in walking around Chinatown, I didn’t find anything that I liked. Thankfully, a friend referred me to, mydivascloset.com. I’m pretty impressed with the selection of cute flip flops they have. I think I’m going to get the red Hitomi design since I’m a sucker for things that look Asian. Just thought I’ll share this with you ^^ More »

Sure Facebook is a great way to find people to hookup with. Everyone knows that! How many people actually find their true love on Facebook? I personally don’t know many. But yesterday I found a story of how two people fell in love over Facebook. Their names are Kelly Hildebrandt and Kelly Hildebrandt. I didn’t type that twice. Well I did, but it was intentional. See Kelly Hildebrandt, the girl, thought one day it’ll be cool to see how many people share my name. Turns out one guy did. Out of sheer boredom and curiosity she contacted him. Two month later, their love blossomed fully and they’ll be getting hitched sometime in October. How’s that for a “how did you meet story” to tell the kids? More »

Everyone knows a lot of things are overpriced in New York. Take this chocolate mousse cake with strawberries. At this popular restaurant/bakery called Junior’s, it’s about $6.50. At another popular bakery, Magnolia’s, it’s like $5. But at dozens of Chinatown bakeries, it’s $1.50. So there you go Girlybubble readers, always shop around because there’s deals even in the most expensive cities in the world. The icing on this cake, the Chinatown ones taste better too! It was truly delicious and special as the wrapping suggests ^^ More »

I don’t know if I would wear this around, but this snowbunny print handbag is undeniably super cute! It’s from the Harajuku Lover’s line - the same one that Gwen Stefani created shortly after she kidnapped four Japanese girls to be her backup dancers - that features a rainbow koosh ball charm and pink, nylon straps. The snowbunnies are actually the Harajuku Girls in snowbunny outfits. The cost is $78 US so it’s a bit pricey. But it’s something I wouldn’t mind having in my possession ^^ More »

There’s this new art called light paintings, where you quite literally paint with light. Ok, I need to say that while I do on occasion take photos with my SLR, I don’t really know much about photography. But you don’t need to know photography to know this is so cool!! All the photos are made at night or in a dark room obviously with long exposure photography techniques. This is just one of many photos which you can see if you click through to the source. More »

I’m not much of a morning person. If coffee was never found, I don’t think I’ll be able to wake up. But if I had my coffee and tea served in these cute Japanese mugs, I think I would look forward to my mornings. Cuteness just makes the day a little brighter after all! More »

Some people really want the traditional wedding in a church with doves and rice-throwing and little kids carrying the rings. But that’s been done thousands if not millions of times. How many weddings have you seen where all the major people break out into dance?! Hard to imagine right? Well, you need to watch this video. I got all happy and gushy just watching it! Side note, this reminds me of that legendary wedding in Love Actually. I guess I’m saying this wedding video is good enough to be in a movie! More »

This couple fell in love and got engaged in their 20s during school. After a year, the girl moved away to France and the couple drifted apart. The guy wrote a letter to the girl after a few years asking if she ever married and if she still thought of him. Unfortunately, the mother of the girl decided to be evil and hid the letter in the mantle of the fireplace. But 16 years after the couple broke up, fate, serendipity, cupid, whatever you want to call it, intervened. The fireplace was dismantled and the girl eventually found and read the letter. After some hesitation she called him and they met up in the city of love, Paris. And they married and lived happily ever after. The end!~ More »

What do you get the person who has the cutest things? Well I bet that person doesn’t have this kawaii soap dispenser! Unless she got it before it sold out. Yes, my cute-seeking readers, I can’t seem to find anywhere online that sells these kawaii, pink soap dispenser with a little pink cute version of Sponge Bob inside. If you can find them let me know, because I have a friend that would die for something like this! More »

The following video is NSFCL (not safe for chick lovers). As you can see from the photo, a baby chicken is fighting a lizard that’s 10 times his size. Of course I wouldn’t show you this video if the chick loses. Rather, this is a story of bravery and courage never before seen in the history of chick fights. But I must warn you that the chick does not leave this fight without some scars, both physical and emotional ones. And whoever shot this, why didn’t you help the chick out!? More »

I was never one to get too crazy with my nails. I think it’s because I was always kinda clumsy and would break my nails on something or would cut gashes in my ex-boyfriends. What I liked about nail art is that there’s so many things you can do. You can see so many creative little things in this small Japanese collection: fruits, teddy bears, and of course Hello Kitty. All this goes to show that Japan just makes everything cuter!~ More »

Is there even much to say if this was real? Obviously this was photoshopped. But still, what a cute picture! More »
