Dear GirlyBubble World: From this day forward, I, Jinra F. Ilustrisimo and Alexa Nguyen, will be your experts on all things girly and cute. It is our duty to keep the world of GirlyBubble from bursting and to preserve the nature of cuteness and girly-ness, one cutesy emoticon at a time. Or big fat pink ribbon at a time…your pick.

To give you a little background on ourselves, know that neither of us have degrees in Cute-ology or Girly-sics. We were kind of born into both respective fields, maybe even inherited a gene or 5 in cute. Literally. Reference the picture above. It’s obvious that Alexa was born and raised into a family of cute cuddly bears. I think that’s her mom with her in that picture. Or her dad — I can’t tell.

As for myself, I think it’s pretty obvious. I’ve always been surrounded by girly, cute objects to an extreme extent. I think I played with that Care Bear wallpapered wall before I actually made real friends. Also, what business did I have wearing that cute white frock in 1984? Oh, no business at all. I wore it just to be cute. This is how serious we are about GirlyBubble.
