Lady Gaga and I have tons in common. Nevermind the fact that I’m not a chart-topping pop princess or musically talented. We both love fashion and we both love Hello Kitty. We also love it when both collide. Only, she has the advantage of having a designer create a dress made entirely out of plush Hello Kitty dolls for a recent kawaii-inspired photo shoot for Sanrio. And of course, my complete attention and adoration for Lady Gaga wearing nothing but Hello Kitty.

What’s genius about this photoshoot, (aside from Hello Kitty of course) is the fact that she is shot with her eyes closed in every picture. Despite closed eyes, she is, in the words of a great Miss Tyra Banks, “Smiling with her eyes.” Nothing less than amazing could be expected from famed celebrity photographer duo, Markus Klinko and Indrani.
