It’s the golden rule of every fashionista that you should always mix tasteful vintage with modern pieces to achieve instant chic. I, for one, tend to question the notion of ‘instant chic.’ It’s not everyday I have an instant to put together an outfit that mixes vintage and modern, and I’m not one to coordinate my closet like Cher from Clueless. Vintage or thrift shopping for me is haphazard; See it, love it, buy it. Don’t even think about what modern pieces I have in my wardrobe that’ll complement my purchases.
