Don’t call Kate Nash ‘Lily Allen’ because, well…she’s not Lily Allen. For one, Lily Allen isn’t this week’s Cute Girl of the Week, Kate Nash is. If you find yourself confusing the two, don’t worry - it’s pretty common, so I’ll set the record straight. The biggest difference between the two British singer-songwriters, aside from style (both musically and fashionably-speaking), is that Lily Allen isn’t as consistently cute as Kate Nash.

Kate for one, hasn’t been known to be seen drunk in public like Lily. Trust me, getting drunk often in the public eye — not so cute. Also, Kate plays her own musical instruments and has probably written a song or two with titles that don’t match the lyrics. Her hit song Pumpkin Soup is one of them, and a favorite of mine. The music video is beyond adorable with its giant kitties, balloons and candy hearts:

The BBC has confirmed that she’s got a new album that’ll release early next year! I can’t wait.
