You know, I can’t help it if I was born with ovaries that like a good challenge. A challenge that almost always results in failure. For my ovaries, that challenge is to withstand a romantic comedy (romcom) without feeling the need to implode on themselves. I am constantly on the lookout for good challenges. And by good challenges, check out my list of romantic comedies I am so, totally, looking forward to.

1. Remember Me (March 12, 2010) - Two words: Robert Pattinson. I don’t think I need to say more.

Okay fine, I need to say more. This is more drama than it is comedy, but still. You know you want to bring all your girlfriends to this one.

2. When In Rome (January 29, 2010) - So it’s not exactly Roman Holiday, but who wouldn’t want to watch something about a woman, so unlucky in love, who picks up coins from a fountain that represent the men that are going to fall in love with her in the future? Where is this fountain they speak of? Also, Josh Duhamel = delicious.

3. Valentine’s Day (February 12, 2010) - EVERYONE is in this. Everyone. Taylor Lautner, Anne Hathaway, Taylor Swift, Jessica Alba, Bradley Cooper, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Julia Roberts, Emma Roberts, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Fox, Joe Jonas…In short, this is another one of those romantic comedies where everyone’s story intertwines.

4. Dear John (February 5, 2010) - Nicholas Sparks originally wrote the book Dear John, therefore, we must all see it. And Channing Tatum’s abs.

5. Letters to Juliet (May 7,2010) - I don’t know what it is about Amanda Seyfriend starring in movies involving letters. (She stars in Dear John, also). The story behind Letters to Juliet is based on a location in Italy where people write letters to Juliet (from the Shakespeare play), in hopes of having their love answers returned.
