On my very, very, very, very short list of things that irritate me is the fact that there’s a lot of hate and negativity against carbs. This is irritating because, well, what did they do to you? Carbs only exist to provide your body’s number one source of nourishment. Or, if you happen to be Japan or around anyone that made these Totoro bread rolls for the book Waku Waku Kyarakuta No Obento, they’re a source of cuteness, happiness and delight.

Carbs are your best friend, just like Totoro is:

So please, before you knock carbs, look at a Totoro bread roll and do some research. As for the lovely Waku Waku Kyarakuta No Obento book — no luck finding it in the US. It’s only available in Japan’s Kinokinuya book store.
