This shouldn’t come as a surprise to you, but I’m kind of a sucker for cute packaging, especially if it’s make-up. Take Benefit’s Posie Tint for example. It’s chrome pink and named after one of my favorite flowers, the posie. To me, it’s a god-send being both a liquid cheek AND lip stain. Despite the winter season’s tendency to favor dark flushed winter cheeks over bright posie (not rosy) cheeks, I’m still willing to opt for instant gratification if it means giving me a brighter, warmer face. I’m make-up rebel, basically.

To start, here’s a picture of me with no make-up on. Brace yourself:

To apply Posie Tint to your cheeks, you basically mark it with 3 lines on your cheeks — on the apples, or you can go higher up like I have if it suits your face. Then, blend into your cheek with your fingers and BAM! Done. (Relax, I don’t really do coke. That’s just a zit.)

Finished result and make-up on completely:

This is basically how I’m a make-up rebel. Are there any make-up rules or trends you don’t follow?
