“Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” by Beyoncé? It was stuck in my head for a week straight. Kelly Clarkson? The only best thing to come from American Idol. Lady Gaga? LOVE HER! Yes, I admit it, I actually love pop music. I have broken down the walls of my holier-than-thou indie attitude and don’t find Top 40 to be my guilty pleasure anymore. I actually get a pleasure of listening to it guilt-free. This year has been my year to embrace my inner pop fanatic and, I must admit, there have been a lot of great pop tunes that were released. To end 2009 with a bang, DJ Earworm compiled the top 25 songs of this year and did an incredible mashup of them (link).

Here’s a list of the songs included:
The Black Eyed Peas - BOOM BOOM POW
Lady Gaga - POKER FACE
