Just in case you ever run out of ideas about where to throw away $750 USD on, here’s one: Buy a Sweet Surrender cupcake. Ironically, I don’t see anything sweet about “surrendering” that much money to a cupcake. Sure, it’s pretty…but not at all worth it. No matter how bourge-y its list of ingredients is.

Here’s the description for the $750 cupcake:

… A sumptuous cupcake, handcrafted from the most exclusive, rich, and enterprising ingredients around the globe. One main ingredient in Decadence D’Or is Palmira Single Estate Chocolate. This special chocolate varietal is derived from the rare and fragile Porcelana Criollo bean and cultivated to its fullest state of richness exclusively at the Valrhona plantation in Venezuela. Complementary to the Palmira Single Estate Chocolate is Tahitian Gold Vanilla Caviar- the world’s most labor-intensive agricultural crop. This fruit, after it is ripened for nine months, then hand-harvested, cured, sweat, dried, and hand-split, is obtained only by tedious manual extraction; it is truly a delicacy, both in taste and exclusivity. Topping the Decadence D’Or is the masterfully smooth Louis XIII de Remy Martin Cognac, 100 years in the making, and edible, metallic gold flakes, each painstakingly hand-placed. Finally, once baked to perfection, this grand dessert is encased in a stately, hand blown sugar Fleur-de-Lis and presented on a handmade exclusive elegant crackled-gold glass curved plate and bowl.

Even after all this, $750 doesn’t seem like a sound investment. I’d take a life-long supply of Junior’s Bakery cheesecakes, thanks.

If you had all the money in the world, would you blow some of it on the $750 cupcake?

That’s really expensive! I could probably buy something better than
a cupcake. Although I doesn’t sound just like a cupcake I don’t know
if paying $750 is really worth it. o__o! But I have to say that the
presentation of the cupcake is really simple and pretty but, $750
is just too much. );

wow i would never i wouldnt even want somone to buy that for me

Why??? It’s small and the flavor is chocolate. LMAO

Geez, and I thought $6 cupcakes were expensive. :)

This also reminds me of that $25,000 dessert. I forgot exactly what it was, but it included a spoon made out of gold! A lifestyle for the rich and famous.

Hahaha! I will not blow my 750$ for some cupcake :)! I rather bake my own :P
