Looking at Parcoala, the mascot for new Japanese department store, Parco, you have to wonder. Why don’t department stores here ever have cute mascots? Or mascots at all? When was the last time you walked into a Macy’s only to be greeted by cute, furry animal mascots decorating every piece of advertising? Personally, cute animals are enough to make me want to spend.
