Access Agency, an organization whose sole purpose is to makeover pre-existing brands into fierce fashion-forward entities, has set its sights on McDonald’s. What then, would a more fashion-forward McDonalds call itself? McFancy. According to Access Agency, McFancy is a, “upmarket temporary McDonald’s store that launches at Fashion Weeks across the world.” Unfortunately, no one will be seeing McFancy tents in Bryant Park anytime soon. McFancy for now, is just an idea formed from the brains behind Access Agency. I’m slightly bummed by this — the creation of McFancy actually implies that people have time to eat at fashion week and that people in fashion actually…eat.


Would a major high-fashion brand make-over for McDonalds influence you to eat more of their food?

Yeah the design is nice though! I could see them charging 3x what they normally charge to pay for the packaging..
