MTV’s Daria to be released on DVD this year

Growing up as a cynical teenage girl in the late ’90s, one of my favorite shows on television was MTV’s Daria. It is hard to think that this Beavis and Butt-Head spin-off has been off the air for eight years now. When I heard the news that MTV and Paramount FINALLY decided to release a DVD of all five seasons, I felt like my life was becoming a little more complete.

The long-awaited DVD will include:
-Pilot: “Sealed With a Kick”
-Music Video: “Freakin’ Friends” by Trent’s band Mystik Spiral
-Daria Day intros
-Daria and Jane’s Top 10 Video Countdown
-Interviews with the cast and crew
-Never seen spin-off script for Mystik Spiral

Daria: The Complete Animated Series will be available on May 11th. This is going to be an epic ’90’s nostalgia trip for me. Yeah, most definitely.
