I rarely watch the news, I don’t tend to browse practical articles online, and the closest I come to a newspaper is when I’m peeling it off the taro at work– so when I discovered T-post, I was intrigued.
Offbeat News + Graphic T-Shirt= T-post
All you have to do is subscribe to their t-shirt news service and every six weeks, you’ll be sent a t-shirt with a design based on a current news story– the news story will be printed inside of the shirt.
It’s a little pricey and probably not really practical in terms of keeping an active update on what’s going on in the world, but it does create less environmental waste than actual magazines and newspapers. The amount of t-shirts that they print matches exactly the number of the subscribers they have– they only make what is ordered.
“Additionally, we’ve been using American Apparel’s organic cotton Tees more and more. We now use a printer that is environmentally certified and uses eco-friendly ink. And we are currently researching local print shops to minimize the carbon debt associated with shipping.”
