True, a lot of cute or kawaii stuff originates out of Japan but at the same time — a lot of not cute stuff comes from Japan. According to this Sankaku Complex article, a survey asking the Japanese what items in a single woman’s room would they most be horrified at finding reveals everything Japan does not find cute. For single Japanese women, at least.

The Top 10 Worst Things to Find in a Girl’s Room

1. Sentai goods

2. A punching bag

3. A model railway

4. Moe anime goods or DVDs

5. More than 3 PCs

6. Large amounts of pet clothing

7. Idol posters

8. Japanese travel souvenirs

9. Nekomimi/usamimi (cat or rabbit-eared characters)

10. Dolls (western or Japanese)

Quite the interesting list. It seems like everything we think is cute (dolls, cat/rabbit eared characters, pet clothing, etc.) isn’t so cute but scary. Something interesting to note, is number 1, sentai goods. Sentai is basically anything referring to anything Power Rangers like. What’s so bad about that?

My question for you is, what in your room do you think is the worst thing one could find?

I don’t understand the idol posters thing anyway? Where do they put them if not on the walls?

Idol posters i dont get it well the scariest thing in my room is probably my bruise Li poster
