Meet Mamegoma, San-X’s bean seal. You might ask what a bean seal is, and I’ll tell you. It’s a bean-shaped seal. I know, such a tough concept to grasp, but when you feast your eyes on the cuteness that is Mamegoma, you’ll understand all that is bean seal.

Obviously, Mamegoma can’t be found in the wild, but in the world of San-X, they’re white, blue, pink and black. Like beans, they’re tiny and live in a common goldfish bowl, usually with a few ice cubes to keep the water nice and cool. They are also shown in advertisements and merchandise in bath tubs and relaxing on a wheel in a hamster cage among other activities.
