Oh my god, it looks like pineapple buns have sprouted legs and morphed into turtles. How cute is that?
Curiously enough, they’re actually melon-flavored bread from the Daimaru Department Store in Kyoto, which boasts to be one of the biggest food floors in Japan. In addition to stalls devoted to the city’s specialty foods, which are tofu, fu (wheat gluten), and yuba (tofu skin), they also offer a wide selection of Western foods, pastries and chocolates, and wine.

LOL that would make more sense, thanks. When I read it on the website, it was like…hm…then again, well it is Japan…ok.
