First coffee filter prom dresses, and now roses?

All you need are cone-shaped coffee filters, floral wire and tape, scissors, a needle, paintbrushes, and water colors to make these roses. It seems simple enough (though extremely tedious) judging from the picture tutorial from SaraJSaturday on Craftster, but I would never sit there and do an entire bouquet.

For those of you who have more patience, this would be a nice project to work on for a creative Mother’s Day gift.
