Created by Jenn, “Moffles” are made of waffle batter mixed with mochiko flour to produce crispy waffles with a mochi chew. No, not weird at all (the concept is similar to that of egg puffs)– it sounds to me like an excellent snack for the afternoon.
(Tip: They taste better when made in a Hello Kitty waffle maker ;] )
1 cup flour
1 cup mochiko
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
1-1/2 cups milk
2 eggs
1. Prep your waffle iron by buttering it up. The mochiko makes this batter pretty sticky, so you want to make sure you can get them out.
2. Combine all the dry ingredients, then add the wet. Mixing until just combined.
3. Pour into your waffle maker, and wait til they come out a nice crispy brown.

They look sooooo yummy! I love egg puffs but I don’t think I’ve tried mochi waffles before … if only I had a Hello Kitty waffle thingy >.<
