I just received this gray long rib-knit cardigan today courtesy of YesStyle, and I am definitely spazzing over it. Like many people, I’m always anxious about ordering stuff online because you never know what the item is really going to look like–the size, the quality, etc. Therefore, I can’t express how pleased I am that this cardigan is exactly like the one in the picture. It’s made by ZOO, which in my opinion has this cool, modern-girl image that I’m all for.
This cardigan comes in five different colors, but I got the gray one. Gray is a nice monotone color that’s really easy to wear with different outfits. Personally, I love how the model paired it with the hooded striped tee, I think I’m going to have to get myself one of those now.
My Ratings
1. Size 4/5
For something that only comes in One Size, this is an amazing fit for me. The only thing that I can kind of complain about if I’m being nit-picky is that the sleeves are a bit too short for my taste. They cut off exactly at my wrists, whereas I enjoy longer sleeves that come past them. Then again, that’s just a moot point and a bit of personal preference. The length of this cardigan, though, is perfect. It hits right at the butt area (like a cardigan should) and is perfect for wearing with skinny jeans.
2. Quality 5/5
This cardigan was made pretty well. The fabric’s not too thick, but it’s still thick enough–perfect for that just going back to school pre-winter period. After examining every inch of fabric I could lay eyes on, I can’t find any holes or tears, a major plus. The buttons also appear to be sewed on pretty securely, but I kind of like the unbuttoned look better than the buttoned one (draws less attention to my chicken thighs).
3. Wearability 5/5
My friends will definitely be seeing a lot of this cardigan on me come September. It’s a bit too thick for summer wear (the weather here in New York is insanely hot), but when it cools down and starts getting a bit gusty, I can definitely see myself throwing this on. This cardigan is perfect for casual school wear, which is awesome fo sho.
