Adding kawaii clip art to photos is really popular in Japan! In fact, they have a lot of photo booths there for the very purpose of adding cute picture decorations. Puricute is a website I discovered a few years ago, it allows you to upload your pictures and decorate them with little sparkles and other pretty/girly embellishments.

The website itself is very cute, but a lot of the clip art seems sort of…not sure how to describe it, but I’ll just say “cheesy.” It will take you awhile to dig through all the cheesy options until you find the cute stuff - but it’s there!

Here’s one I found in my account I made a couple of years ago, (I also made the bunny one). Mine are rather plain compared to what other people do.

Cute! OHMYGOSH. I went to one of the photo booths when I visited China for a homestay program when I was in grade 8, it was SO AMAZING, AND CUTE, AND HIGH-TECH...Compared to the shabby ones we have here in Canada. D:
