And she’s conquered another body of water! An 8-meter (26.2-feet) tall Hello Kitty spectacle has appeared at Odaiba Beach as part of a campaign to promote tree-planting activities in Tokyo. Now I don’t know what Hello Kitty has to do with trees, but I do know that that’s the most adorable thing I’ve seen to float on water.

Hello Kitty stands at the center of the entire show, with water jets shooting off next to her and colorful balls of other Sanrio characters accessorizing the front. The shows look absolutely at night, which makes me a bit jealous. The Hudson River could use some Kitty companionship, too.
