Rainie Yang really holds a lot of talent. She is both my favorite artist and favorite actress, and I think she is just too freaking adorable! She began acting in commercials when she was fourteen years old, and was also in a band called 4 Love in 2000. But after only two years the band disbanded and Rainie went on to start her solo career.

Aside from that she has acted in nearly twenty different dramas, my top choices being Why Why Love and Devil Beside You. She’s starred in a few movies, and also had a career as a host for a while. This year she has released her newest album called Whimsical World, and is also in the process of filming her upcoming drama Sunshine Angel, co-starring alongside Wu Zun from Fahrenheit. I can’t wait until it airs!

I’ve seen all of the dramas she was in.


Rainie Yang is the only Taiwanese idol i know. I knew her from my older sister since she loves her.. :D! I like her song. (: She is really pretty! :D My older sister loves her bangs, she even got a similar haircut although it is just bangs. wink.

Yup like everyone (I think) I started off with watching Devil Beside You and she was SO IRRITAING! RAWR! XD Her cutesy thing was sooo exaggerated and yeah I know it’s all supposed to be like that to be funny but to me it was so exagerated and fake to the point that I was nearly on the verge of actually smashing the screen to pieces -_-’’’

all I can say is:

1) I agree with you, haha. asian girls being over-the-top cute sickens me. greatly.
2) taiwanese people love the over-the-top cutesiness. one of those cultural things common across far east nations, unfortunately.
3) but the one thing I LOVE about over-the-top cutesiness is that it makes male dancers look hilariously awkward.

I don’t know~~ I don’t like her too much~~ I watched many dramas with her~~ but the worst was miss no good~~ I couldn’t watch it at all ¬¬ soo annoying voice and acting…
