October’s here, and that means… Breast Cancer Awareness Month! There will soon be waves of messages telling you to join Breast Cancer walks, companies will start selling pink items with the trademark ribbon icon, even advertisements on the trains will be replaced with something more pink, all in effort to raise more awareness about cancer. Microsoft is no exception. And therefore, introducing the new pink Wireless Mobile Mouse 4000.

It’s not hot pink (phew), but instead is a very light and soft pink, pleasant to the eyes. The mouse uses BlueTrack technology, a Plug & Go Nano Receiver, 2.4GHz wireless technology, a 10 month battery life, and a scroll wheel. It’s set at $39.95 as of right now, which is reasonable price for a mouse this advanced (certain headphones cost much more that this mouse) - and even better, $4 from each purchase will be donated to finding a cure, so in essence, you’re paying 35.95 dollars for the actual mouse, and then 4 dollars to potentially saving people - Microsoft is planning on donating at least $200,000 to this cause. I like!

So everyone go get this new special edition mouse! Remember, you’re not only buying a new gadget for yourself, but also helping someone out there with breast cancer. And if you don’t need a new mouse, but you still want to help spread awareness, donating and attending the walks also serves as really great support!
