One quick look at this Tokyo Fashion Layered Floral Chiffon Dress (courtesy of YesStyle) told me that this is my type of outfit. I only ever order clothing that I can actually see myself wearing in my mind, and I was so excited to try this dress out.

The dress is super girly, very elegant and has lots of intricate detail across the body. The sheer amount of gorgeous work put into it gives it a very unique identity, especially across the shoulder area and the layers filled with an attractive floral design:

Okay, I’ll admit it, I’ve only just got into the 5 foot category. I am nowhere near as tall (or as pretty for that matter!) as the model for this item seems to look, so I’m always on the look out for something that will not make me look shorter than I already do. So I found it pleasantly surprising to find that the dress that the dress does not do this at all:

This dress comes with a matching pearl necklace and tops off the outfit well like a cherry on top of a cake:

There’s always a worry when receiving a clothing item in the mail that you’ve never tried on before. This item is available in “One size” only, but is very wearable and actually quite comfortable. It is made from polyester and can be both hand and machine washed.

If I had to describe one discrepancy I have with this dress, it would be that it could be slightly too short to suit some tastes. Personally I would pair with shorts in summer and leggings/tights in winter rather than wear it alone, but maybe that’s just me.

Overall, I’m extremely pleased with this layered floral chiffon dress and how fantastically chic it looks without going over the top. I will definitely be wearing it (with tights!) to this holiday’s parties.
