I finally got what I wanted! All this time, I have been waiting for the one and only Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler, and I finally got my hands on it. Yes I know, I’m kind of late in the game as far as this goes because EVERYONE knows how good this eyelash curler is. It’s known to be one of the ten cult favorite items, and for a long time, I have been wondering why. Thanks to YesStyle, I had an awesome opportunity to review this item.
It’s simply beautiful. The design has an elegant and sophisticated touch, yet it’s still strong enough to curl every single one of your lashes. I probably mentioned this before, but fellow blogger karens2 once told me the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler doesn’t need to be used more than once because after just one use, your lashes are perky and well-curled. It was hard to believe, but she was right!
Before getting this curler, I have been using a cheap eyelash curler from ELF. It’s OKAY, but I had to use it like FIVE times to get my lashes curled. It was frustrating because my lashes naturally point downward and are very sparse (so sad sniff). It was always hard to get them curled, and another problem was that my lashes lost their curls pretty easily, so it seemed like using a lash curler was pretty useless. However, after using this just once, I noticed that my lashes were looking longer and actually fuller (I know. it doesn’t make sense. But still!). It’s also really easy to use. I’m not going to explain how to use an eyelash curler because I’m pretty sure it’s self-explanatory.
The first picture (left) is my lashes without anything on. My lashes don’t even show up in photos because like I said before, they point straight down naturally. The middle picture is my eye after using the Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler. As you can see, you can actually see bits and pieces of my lashes! Last and not least, the last picture (right) is my eye after putting on one coat of mascara. My lashes are actually alive! YAY!
Overall, I have to say that I’m VERY happy with this. I’m planning on use it for the rest of my life!
Get this for $22 at YesStyle! (It’s temporarily out of stock currently)
