Lions are cute but what if you had it as your pet? Now, I know that this news is quite old but I thought it would be nice to show you, to let you know even a carnivorous animal can feel love so why don’t we live in harmony and value our surroundings (nothing last forever)? Hence, we should forgive and let it live.

The story takes us 60, when a years back, when a little cub was adopted into a family of two white alpha males, John and Ace. The lion grew up to live as a human, eating in fine London restaurants and spent his days lounging in a furniture shop. This is the story of Christian a pet lion, a story that has inspired us all and has been receiving much attention since.

Christian was like a little child describes Jennifer Mary Taylor who watched the cub grow.

“Christian used to lie beside me while I did the accounts at weekends,” remembers Jennifer Mary Taylor, who worked at the furniture shop. And every so often, if I’d ignored him for too long, he’d sock me across the head with one of his great big paws. He was very loving and affectionate - he liked to stand and put his paws on your shoulders. But he was… I mean, he was a lion. Does that sound silly?”

Sadly, after a year, the cat was restricted from cruising along the streets, going to eat casseroles at the local restaurant and even living in his furniture shop. He became too large due to his rapid growth. Consequently the lion was force to become rehabilitated into the wild Kenya.

After a year of their separation, John and Ace had their first reunion with Christian (watch video below.. Get your tissues ready). They were told Christian would not be able to remember but they went regardless. They spent hours looking for their ‘once was baby’ in the wild but just to find something just as amazing.

Two years onwards from Christian’s rehabilitation, John and Ace had their final meeting before Christian would be officially released into the wild. By then, Christian has formed his mane and become a full grown lion.
