Catherine Hardwicke, director of the infamous Twilight movie, has revealed how Kristen Stewart, leading female of the film, wanted Robert Pattinson, male lead of the film, to be her partner in the film from the start - after their first kiss in the auditions.

Hardwicke stated, “She felt connected to him from the first moment. That electricity, or love at first sight, or whatever it is. Kristen was like, ‘It’s got to be Rob!’”

Looks like Kristen and Robert really were mean to be together from the start, eh?
