Today’s Cute Boy Watch, suggested by 17lizzie, features Thai model and actor Mario Maurer. He is best known for his role as Tong in the movie “The Love of Siam.” He has won the Best Actor award in Starpics Thai Films Awards and was also nominated for the same award in Bangkok Critics Assembly and Star Entertainment Awards.

At the age of 16, Mario began as a model, doing photo shoots, commericals and music videos. However, he made his breakthrough in the movie The Love of Siam playing Tong, as part of a homosexual romance to which he stated the he was extremely nervous for the role, stating he only accepted the role because he trusted the director. None the less, that film brought him instant fame.

If you want to see more of his recent stuff, he is in the movie “First Love (A Little Thing Called Love),” the Korean-Thai joint production “Autumn Destiny (Under the Same Sky),” which also features Paran member Ryan, as well as U-KISS‘ members, Kibum and Eli.
