Justin Bieber has revealed that he chopped off locks, raising $40,668 at an online auction. Last month, he gave US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres a lock of his hair, so that the money can be raised for a charity of her choice.

DeGeneres put the hair up for auction on eBay, with proceeds going to the Gentle Barn Foundation, a rescue and rehabilitations charity for animals. Stone Rose, a US clothing company, have been loaned some of the hair too for use to raise funds for people have pictures with the hair, to raise money for the Japanese Earthquake.
