Katy Perry’s world tour is now underway, and she is in the thick of it all to battle to be crowned the world’s princess of pop, dominating music charts across the globe. Latest Ovi Muusic download trends claim that she ranked top of the charts in the Middle East and Africa, and she is the fourth most downloaded artist in South East Asia Pacific, beating off stiff competition from international superstars like Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and P!nk.

California Gurls is her best selling song, making up 25% of sales, followed by Teenage Dream at 17%, Hot N Cold with 15% of the sales, and Firework accounting for 11%. China and the YK are the global hotspots for her sales, combining to account for 17% of her total worldwide music sales. These are the countries with the top percentage shares of her downloads:

2. UK 17%
3. Finland 13%
4. Brazil 8%
5. Germany 7%
6. Australia 6%
7. Mexico 5%
8. India 5%
9. South Africa 4%
10. Singapore 4%
