Despite having to head trial after being accused of stealing a $2500 “one of a kind” necklace from a Venice Beach jeweler, Lindsay Lohan still had time to think about the victims from the devastating earthquake and tsunami that occurred in Japan.

RadorOnline.com learned that Lindsay Lohan joined forces with the celebrity booker,Claus Hjelmbak and Danish artist Poul Pava to help the victims of Japan. Hjelmbak, a close friend of hers even said that while she was packing her stuff to go to New York, she still had the time to sign posters to raise money for a Japan fund. Also, despite everything she has been through she was still able to hold up in a situation where most people would give up.

Just a few weeks ago, she informed Judge Keith Schwarts that she will not be accepting a plea deal that would include jail time. She will be appearing in front of Judge Stephanie Sautner on April 22 for her preliminary hearing.

Poul has designed a special t-shirt and parts of the funds will be donated to the American Red Cross for Japan. Poul even gave Lindsay Lohan one of his shirts and she will be wearing this to help raise awareness. With her help and the publicity it will bring, they will be able to raise much more money to help the victims of Japan.
