We all know that Lindsay Lohan has been in a rough situation since… well- when hasn’t she been, other then about a decade ago? Despite all her wild scandals she’s still baffled by Betty White’s comments on the star calling her “ungrateful.”

In an interview with Britain’s Daily Mail the legend from The Golden Girls showed her distaste towards celebrities like Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen. White commented on stars that “party too much” while they refuse to appreciate the many values they receive from their stardom. She also added that these troublesome celebs should begin to “respect” the careers that they have. Here’s exactly what she had to say:

“I cannot stand the people who get wonderful starts in showbusiness, and who abuse it. Lindsay Lohan and Charlie Sheen, for example, although there are plenty of others, too. They are the most blessed people in the world and they don’t appreciate it. They party too much, don’t learn their lines, are unprofessional and they grumble about everything. I think they are terribly ungrateful. We considered ourselves lucky to be on the box, never complained if a critic didn’t like us, dressed modestly and were always on our best behaviour in public.”

An astounded Lohan spoke to E! News and said in surprise, “Wow. I’ve always been a fan of hers. It’s just a bit strange when people feel they must speak publicly about others. Especially a grown woman.”

I’m with Betty White on this one, of course. Many stars do take their success for granted these days.

I think what Betty White is saying is true. Instead of just reporting about people’s behavior and scandalizing what they do, someone needs to give them a reality check.


what she said holds some truth to it :/
it’s always hard to hear it from someone but lohan should have realized what a mess she made out from her fame. however, betty white could have been a little bit more soft


that was a well-said statement and I couldn’t agree more. some celebs don’t even have respect for their careers or their fans it seems. if I were lohan I’d pull myself together. 


Personally, I think that this type of celebrity (the party-goer and whatnot) do need a reality check. I hate it when they think that they’re so much better than everyone else because of what job they have

I think Lohan forgot that yes Betty White is a grown woman but she also is a veteran actress who has lots of experience. I’m with White all the way. Someone has to give them (Lohan and Sheen) a reality check. Thanks for sharing!
