When Justin Bieber arrived in Hong Kong last week for his Hong Kong concert, he probably expected more of a screaming crowd to welcome him into the Asian city. However, probably to his disappointment, he was only greeted by 7 adoring fans, which caused local paper, South China Morning Post, to dub it as an “embarrassingly low-key reception”. Perhaps that’s one reason for the lack of smile on the singer’s face.

That was caught on camera and as the video on YouTube gained more than 135,000 views by Sunday, his fans defended him, saying that he probably was more distracted by the amount of photographers present and didn’t want to see them. A Belieber by the name of Ruth Boon believes that there were fewer people than normal because most fans were in school the day that Bieber arrived.

Despite the small crowd at the airport, when Bieber performed on May 13, he sang to a sold-out crowd for his concert.

lol the way the reporter reported there were only a few fangirls there to greet jb and how he pronounced justin beiber XD well, im glad that it didnt affect the concert’s attendance :3 thanks for sharing!

LOL! XD I bet he was disappointed!  Justin..you ain’t the only artist out there in the world who have screaming fans!  That is a little than I expected though...i thought that more people in China would have the Bieber fever!  ROFL!.  I’m not one of them.
