Cute Boy Watch: Matthew Gray Gubler

Today’s Cute Boy Watch (or more like Hot Man Watch) features 31 year old American actor, film director, sketch artist, and former fashion model Matthew Gray Gubler. He currently portrays Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds.

While attending NYU film school, Matthew was scouted by a model scout who worked for brands such as Tommy Hilfiger, Marc Jacobs and American Eagle, etc. Matthew was also ranked #46 out of top 50 male models. He has also modeled for brands such as Burberry, Marc and others. After modeling, Matthew gained an internship, where he auditioned for a part in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. He landed on the role of Nico and thus was a leading factor of him getting the role of Dr. Spencer Reid in Criminal Minds. He also is Simon’s voice actor in Alvin and the Chipmunks and the sequel.

His upcoming movies include Magic Valley, Pornstar, Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chip-Wrecked and Excision.
