Today’s edition of Origins of Cute features the black vampire cat Nyanpire! Nyanpire’s name is made up of “nyan”, the sound a cat makes, and “pire”, which is taken from vampire. This lonely black cat is a stray cat and nearly dead but a kind vampire saves it from total death. The vampire gave Nyanpire some vampire blood and I’m pretty sure you know what comes next. An anime starring this cute kitty will be out in summer 2011.
