After the successful release of the original Happy Feet, it has been unveiled that after 5 years following the original release, a sequel of the movie will be coming our way. The movie will be appropriately titled ‘Happy Feet 2 in 3D‘ and is set for a release this upcoming November 18th. More »

Today’s edition of Origins of Cute features the Japanese mascot for NHK Domo-kun! Domo-kun was created when a TV announcer for NHK said, “domo, konnichiwa”, which means “well, hello there”, but can also mean “hello, domo”. Thus, Domo-kun was born. It was hatched from an egg with a large saw-toothed mouth that is always open.
