Unfortunately for those who were able to obtain tickets to Adele’s sold out North America tour, it has been reported that the singer has been forced to cancel her tour due to her illness. Adele had previously postponed 5 shows after being diagnosed with laryngitis and had plans to resume the tour on June 4th, but an Otolaryngology specialist advised the singer to take the next few weeks off, with absolute voice rest, for a quick recovery.

Disappointed about the canceled tour, Adele stated, “I’m really frustrated. I was hoping with a weeks rest I’d be better to sing again straight away. However there is absolutely nothing I can do but take the doctors advice and rest some more. I’m so sorry. See you soon, love Adele”

Plans of rescheduling the tour are unknown at this point.

I hope she gets lots of rest and recovers soon. Fans will be disappointed but her health comes first. At least they are thinking of rescheduling for fans’ sake.
