After the usage of pink painted horses in her upcoming music video “Love You Like A Love Song” became controversial with singer Pink, actress-singer Selena Gomez has decided to forgo using pink horses in her music video. She had previously insisted that no animals were harmed for the music video.

An insider revealed that the young star had thought the horses would be painted pink post-production and not during the actual filming, so her surprise was great when she first encountered the horses for filming.

Her rep insists that no horses were harmed, saying that there was an official from the Humane Society overlooking the entire music video filming.

Glad there was no harm but pink horses is a bit...random and unnecessary. Just better that they stayed the way they were.
