Harry Potter star, Emma Watson, has decided to reveal why she finds handsome men boring.

Emma Watson became the world’s highest paid actress, overtaking Angelina Jolie by earning £19million for being Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films. By being the world’s highest paid actress, a fashion icon and a global superstar, Emma probably has a line of suitors so long that it can go around the world three time.

But she has said that she finds handsome guys boring.

Emma, 21, became single ever since she broke up with musician George Craig last year. She has revealed what type of man she’s after. She stated that being polite and making her laugh are high on the agenda but she’s not worried about good looks.

She also stated her love of becoming a mum:

“I have very strong family values and I would definitely hope that marriage and kids would be in my future. I can’t wait to be a mum.”

She even has proof that she’s good with children. She explained,

“My father remarried and I have 3 younger half siblings. One is seven and the other two, who are twins are five.”

When asked what attributes she looks for in her ideal partner, she answered:

“Kindness, good manners, intelligence, confidence … and someone who can make me laugh.” and “I think being polite is quite key for me. Being kind and being aware of people around you is definitely a big one.”

While Emma’s friends had crushes on Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio, she had a huge crush on a famous Scot, Sean Connery.
She said,

“I like Sean Connery and I remember thinking he was great.”

When asked about what looks she’s interested in, she said:

“I was talking to my friend about this the other day. I don’t have a ‘type’.”, “You could line up photographs of the guys I’ve dated and they all look totally different.”, ” You won’t believe me but it’s really very much to do with their personalty.” and “If someone’s nice to look at, it gets boring after about 10 minutes.”

Like most celebrities who start off at a young age, she keeps her feet on the ground by studying. She went searching for a normal life at Brown University but then realized that avoiding the limelight is easier said than done. She also tried to lose the Hermione Granger look by cutting her hair into a pixie cut. This not only didn’t help her escape the limelight, but it made her a fashion icon, and ironically, more famous.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is set to come out on July 15.

Ahaha, the pixie cut was to avoid the limelight? That is ironic~
She has great values, and I hope that she has good luck sticking to them and finding a great man. The term gentlemen is thrown around too often. You can’t only be polite, but “being kind and being aware of people around you” is extremely important. I love her list smile

I definitely agree with Emma and respect her opinions.
It’s true that looks are not everything in a relationship.
Good-looking guys might be an eye candy, but they might fail to share the values I have as a person.
After all, you want to date or marry someone whom you can talk to, not look at:)


I agree. I feel like if a guy’s personality is sweet, polite, and fun, then their outer appearance will appear attractive to me. When someone isn’t like that, even if they are “handsome” on the outside, they don’t look that way to me raspberry
