Those who know Anne Hathaway probably know her best as Mia Thermopolis of “Princess Diaries”, but she also hosted the Oscars this year with James Franco. She posed for Harper’s Bazaar, then sat down with the magazine for a little one-on-one.

She talked about how she treasured the experience of being able to host one of Hollywood’s most prestigious events and knows that it’s a one-in-a-lifetime experience. And she also talked about how she had to prepare mentally and physically for her role as ‘Catwoman’ for the upcoming Batman movie, “Dark Knight Rises”, which is set to come out in the theaters next year. Said Hathaway on her role, “I’ve always thought that skinny was the goal, but with this job I also have to be strong.” She’s been working out five days a week to get strong.

Apparently, she got so strong that she gave a stuntman a black eye during filming. She shoved the butt of a gun into the stuntman’s eye socket, leaving a nasty black eye and her mortified.

Hathaway is also grateful towards Ang Lee, who chose her for his critically-acclaimed, Brokeback Mountain, which allowed her to develop and mature her acting.
