Lady Gaga may have some good intentions but a law firm has other thoughts. 1-800-LAW-FIRM is suing the singer, accusing her of reaping some of the proceeds from her Japan wristbands that were meant to go to Japan’s earthquake relief funds.

An attorney from the firm wrote, “I’m suing Lady Gaga simply to hold her accountable for giving the money that she was raising for charity to the cause that she was trying to raise it for.”

Apparently, Lady Gaga had charged $5 for the wristbands, $3.99 for S&H, and $0.60 for taxes when they had cost significantly less. The firm also said that it had found evidence that shows some of the proceeds didn’t go where they were supposed to.

Hmm, don’t know what to think. Maybe this is just a way to build up publicity.
